Blue Steel Man (aka "Blue Jeans")
This is Blue Steel Man aka "Blue Jeans" that played Hannah Montana’s horse in the recent "Hannah Montana" movie starring Miley Cyrus. Pictured with the gray gelding are his family and owners, The Brooks, from Tennessee at the first AQHA QuarterFest as well as one of "Blue" relaxing in his pasture at home.
Several years ago, a casting director for animals was combing the country side for just the right horse to be used as “Hannah’s” horse. He enlisted the help of Bobby Brooks to find a horse to fit the bill. After several attempts to find the perfect horse, the director asked Bobby about his good gray roping horse. "Blue Steel Man" a registered American Quarter Horse, was cast and started training with Rex Peterson for his role. He was taught to pull "Hannah's" wig off in one part of the movie!
