Johne Dobbs has been involved in the horse business for over 35 years beginning as a youth exhibitor and continuing to breed horses today. All of her adult life, she has been active in many facets of the equine business from showing, standing stallions, training, teaching lessons, and breeding for champions as well as owning race horses. Johne adds her knowledge to local and statewide organizations. She is a National Director for the American Quarter Horse Association where she currently serves on the Executive Committee as only the second woman to hold that position. She is committed to the American Quarter Horse Foundation having served on the Equine Research Committee which grants funds for important research projects that help all breeds. The equine world has provided an amazing experience for Johne and her family. Her involvement in the horse world has greatly enhanced the knowledge it takes to conduct the equine insurance business she started in 1992.

Shari Kumiega has been involved in the ’A’ show hunter&jumper industry for the past 25 years as rider, teacher, trainer and judge. Shari has worked extensively with nationally renowned trainers including Patty Heuckoroth, Ken Berkely, Val Renihan, Russell Frey and Todd Minikus.
Shari has trained many horses from their first ride that have gone on to successful placings in the International Hunter Futurity as well as green working hunters and amateur/owner jumpers.
Shari has also taught many successful students including 1994 winner of the Maclay regionals as well as NCHJA medal winners. Carrie Chown has been in the equine business for over 30 years. Having had the great pleasure of owning and training World Champions, Congress Champions and NSBA Hall of Fame horses Hotrodders Jet Set and Delea Siemon.
