Full mortality and theft covers a multitude of losses such as colic, trailer accident, lightening, broken bones, illness, and disease.
Full Mortality and Theft is provided for death as a result of injury, illness, humane destruction, and transportation anywhere in the continental United States or Canada. This coverage also includes loss or death as a result of theft. The annual premium rate is based on the horse's use, breed, and age.
Emergency Colic Surgery
We offer Emergency Colic Surgery when you purchase our Full Equine Mortality and Theft Coverage. The emergency colic surgery covers up to $3,000. Our policy includes this coverage for a $35 premium; providing the horse does not have a history of serious colic problems (i.e., multiple medical colics, or colic surgery). The coverage limit is 50% of the insured value with a maximum of $3,000 and no deductible. If you insure your horse for Major Medical as well, you will have access to the maximum limits on both.
